Under the SPORTHEADS brand (www.sportheads.de), the two industry specialists Sport Heads and Polestar Sports are bringing together their services and expertise in the areas of Recruiting & Executive Search and Strategy Consulting & Research under one roof for the first time. Both companies had already been cooperating closely since 2018, successfully advising management and decision-makers in sports as experts in their respective fields. This takes into account the increasingly close connection between strategic and personnel decisions. Sport Heads has filled a wide range of positions at clubs, associations and companies since it was founded in 2014, while Polestar Sports had emerged from the successful sports business unit of strategy consultancy Goldmedia at the end of 2017.

Previously, the graduate in business administration held several positions in marketing and sports sponsoring at HypoVereinsbank. In addition to his excellent contacts in sports and his profound knowledge of the sports business, he also contributes as a systemic coach to support clients from the sports industry in career planning. Mayer-Vorfelder's closeness to professional sports is also influenced by his father, who, among other things, was president of VfB Stuttgart for more than 25 years, president of the German Football Association for five years and vice president of UEFA for two years.

Marcus Hochhaus is Managing Partner of SPORTHEADS GmbH. His mandates focus on HR consulting, strategy and business development as well as digital media and technology, which he implements for clubs, associations and leagues, sports rights agencies and media companies, as well as brands, among others. Marcus Hochhaus has many years of relevant experience from responsible positions in the media and sports industry. His education includes stations at universities in Bielefeld, Tübingen and Berlin, two semesters abroad in New Zealand as well as at the Film Academy Ludwigsburg. He holds a doctorate on the European film industry and is a lecturer in Media Management at the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences.

Wolfgang Holzhäuser has shaped German professional soccer for over four decades. In his long career, he has held leading positions with the German Football Association (DFB), the German Football League (DFL) and Bayer 04 Leverkusen. Holzhäuser is thus one of the most experienced managers in German sports and an intimate connoisseur of the soccer scene. Holzhäuser is a trained wholesale merchant and studied business administration.
